About Chișinău

Chișinău is divided into five sectors: Centru, Botanica, Buiucani, Rîșcani and Ciocana. The municipality of Chișinău is wider than the city itself and takes in suburban towns and villages. Most suburbs are linked to the city by municipal buses, and trolleybuses also run to Durlești, Trușeni, Bubuieci and Stăuceni. For daily trips what matters is not only the distance from the centre but also the way out of the district: the main roads are busy at rush hour.
