About Anenii Noi
Anenii Noi is a district centre about 36 km south-east of Chișinău, in the valley of the Bîc River. The R2 Chișinău–Tiraspol highway runs through the town, and buses to the capital depart from the local bus station many times a day.
Housing in the town is split almost evenly between private houses and apartments in multi-apartment buildings, with slightly more houses. It has a district hospital, a family doctors’ centre and three lyceums, so there is no need to travel to the capital for everyday services. Buying a house in Anenii Noi makes sense for those who work in the district or are prepared to travel regularly to Chișinău along the highway.
